WHY BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY?
Boudoir photography is about resplendency, empowerment, authenticity, self-acceptance, body positivity, artistic vision, glamour, luxury, and transformation. It’s about finding the beauty and joy in every person and helping them rediscover it for themselves. Through this medium, I create a fun-filled, transformative experience that leaves my clients with a pep-in-their-step, a renewed sense of confidence, and an unshakable belief in their own beauty. Boudoir is for everyone, regardless of size, shape, race, or gender preference. I firmly believe everyone should experience a luxe boudoir session at least once in their life.

How we see ourselves is often vastly different from how the world perceives us. My camera acts as a mirror, reflecting the beauty the world sees back to you so that you can truly see yourself as you are: Radiant and resplendent. At the same-day reveal, my clients are often amazed to see the images before them and realize that, YES, they are that stunning person in those photos. The transformation is real, and it’s profound. You are truly magnificent.

Growing up, I struggled with self-esteem. As an elite athlete in predominantly Caucasian-dominated sports like swimming and downhill skiing, I often felt like an outsider. My body proportions were different, and while I excelled in my sports (not to brag, but to provide context), I often encountered resentment, especially from some competitors and their parents, who believed I didn’t belong. This narrative stuck with me, making me feel inferior despite the unwavering support of my fantastic parents.
Insecurities, I’ve learned, have a way of showing up throughout life. They, however, also fuel my desire to help others embrace and celebrate themselves — their size, shape, race, or any other aspect of their being. Speaking positivity to others and hearing it reflected back has been incredibly healing for me. It’s a reminder of the transformative power of kindness, both to others and to oneself.
Whether my clients carry emotional or physical scars (as I do), I remind them that these marks are proof of their ability to bounce back. Boudoir photography is a celebration of that resilience. It’s a way to honour their journey, their scars, and their story. Allow me the privilege to showcase your strength and beauty through my lens and artistic vision.
The Impact of Boudoir Photography
I’ll be the first to admit that boudoir photography isn’t considered a necessity. It’s often misunderstood, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that this work changes lives. Boudoir can be seen as an act of rebellion against those negative societal narratives which are often directed towards women/womxn.
